Illuminate Production at Platform Southwark - September to October

ARTIST IN RESIDENCIES

Illuminate Productions artist in Residency program at Platform Southwark started with Alistair McCloymont.

Alistair McClymont began at Platform in May 2016 - Jan 2017.  His artwork is a continuing process of discovery and experimentation, ranging across a variety of materials and practices. Each piece follows the last in a continual journey of investigation into cultural and physical phenomena.  His work is included in the Saatchi Art collection online, with exhibitionsat Art catalyst and The Royal Society. For his residency at at Platform he developed a project called Experiments with Air which he is presented to the public in January 2017. 

Kate Tiernan became our new artist in resident from 7th February 2017.

She studied at Goldsmiths in Fine Art and Critical Theory and RADA for an MA in Text and Performance. An artist, writer, and actor working with organisations such as Arnolfini, Tate, V&A, The British Museum and BFI. Through performance practice based research Kate is working to explore spatial relationships and philosophical conundrums using different disciplines through free workshops, open discussions and interactive theatre.

In October Kate is presenting a series of events and she is really excited to announce her upcoming project An Exercise in Vulnerability on the 10th of October, sponsored by Stout.
